Join us for a workshop where creativity meets self-expression! After a brief history of zines, teens and tweens will learn how to create zines of their very own.
In this fun and interactive program, teens and tweens will learn how to create their very own zines — mini-magazines made with paper, pens, and imagination. We'll kick things off with a brief history of zines, from their roots in punk and protest to their role in personal storytelling and underground art. Then, participants will dive into folding techniques, layout tips, and creative content — including writing, drawing, and collage. This program is the kick off for the new Teen and Tween Literature Club!
